Article analyzes unanimous decision of the Federal Regional Court of the 3rd Region, which granted a request for habeas corpus by Ráo & Lago Advogados to dismiss criminal lawsuit based on statements provided under a plea agreement.

The case is a part of Car Wash Operation in São Paulo, brought by the Task Force because of an alleged corruption scheme that would have occurred between the years 2004 and 2014, in the context of the subway works.
